What we adjust

Blouses and shirts are taken in at the side seams or with darts for a shaped waist. Sleeves are shortened at the cuff, keeping buttons and plackets in place. Hems can be shortened for tucking or for wearing out. Camisole straps are shortened so the neckline sits right, and loose or missing buttons are replaced.

Fabrics handled with care

Silk, chiffon and fine knits need the right needle and stitch. Knit tops are sewn with a stretch stitch so seams move with you instead of popping. Pooja tells you up front if a change would show on a delicate fabric.

Prices

Take-ins, sleeves, straps, hems and buttons are quoted after a quick look, because plackets, finishes and fabrics vary. Pooja confirms the price before any work starts. Book online and the 10% launch offer comes off the alteration price.

Turnaround and areas

Most tops are ready in about a week, often sooner. Rush in 24 or 12 hours is available. Drop off near Derry and Mavis in Mississauga; pickup and delivery is complimentary when alterations come to $150 or more, within 20 km.
