Prices
Regular price, and your launch-offer price
Regular prices are Pooja's current prices. The launch offer takes 10% off the alteration price of bookings made on this website. Final price is confirmed at the fitting.
Common bridal alterations
The hem is the big one: layered tulle, lace edges and horsehair braid all need different handling so the gown still floats. A bustle lifts the train for the reception, with French, American or ballroom styles depending on your fabric and how much train you have. The bodice is often taken in for a secure, comfortable fit, straps are added or shortened, and cups can be sewn in so you can skip a bra.
A fitting plan that works
For most brides two or three fittings are enough. The first is about four to eight weeks before the wedding, wearing your shoes and undergarments. Pooja pins everything and explains each change. The final fitting is a week or two before the day, so there is room for small adjustments. Bridesmaid dresses can be scheduled together.
Prices
Bridal work is quoted after fitting because every gown is different: layers, lace, beading and lining all change the work involved. Pooja looks at your gown, pins it on you and gives you a clear price at the first fitting, before any work starts. Book online and the 10% launch offer comes off the alteration price.
At home or at the studio
Fittings can happen at home for $40 within 30 km, which many brides find easier with a large gown. Pickup and delivery is complimentary when alterations come to $150 or more, within 20 km of Derry and Mavis.

Questions
Good to know
When should I start wedding dress alterations?
About six to eight weeks before the wedding is ideal. Rush work is possible, but more time means a calmer fit.
What kind of bustle should I choose?
It depends on the fabric and train length. Pooja shows you the options with the gown on, usually French or American for most trains.
Can you add cups to my gown?
Yes. Sewn-in cups are priced after fitting, depending on the lining.
